One of the things I love about seeing new places is trying to capture them on film (well, digital, but that's beside the point). What I love even more is utterly failing. I try to take a picture of vast field of rapeseed, its yellow flowers lending the countryside a sunny disposition. I try to take a video of sheep playing in a meadow or ribbons blowing in the branches of massive old trees. And it's beautiful. But the images stored in my camera are nothing compared to the real things. And that has to be my favorite part. God designed a world so amazing that nothing a human could create will ever be able to reproduce it. I mean, better photographers with better cameras can do a lot better than I can, but it'll never be the same as standing in the midst of real natural beauty, feeling and smelling it.
You just have to be there.
And those are my brief thoughts for now. More to come next week. Oh, and I got a new computer and editing software, so hopefully more vlogging will happen soon! Be sure you're subscribed on YouTube!
