8AM: Wake up, happy to have slept for almost 10 hours. (Yes, I did pretty much nothing Friday night- and I got so much sleep!!! :D)
9AM: Oil change for my car! I'm actually pretty proud of myself to take care of my car. I have even changed my own taillight before. It's really easy, and I'd recommend it to all of you!
9:30AM: Go to 2 Goodwills in an attempt to find my Halloween costume for this year. I didn't have any luck in this, but I was quite amused in seeing all of the different costumes. They've got quite an extensive inventory!
11AM: Shopping! I <3 Pier 1, Hobby Lobby, and Bed Bath and Beyond. I'm pretty sure I'm queen of the clearance sections. Between these three stores, I only purchased 1 item that wasn't on clearance. I used a coupon on it anyway.
2PM: Grocery shopping at Wal-Marts... Yes, that was plural. I had to go to 2 Wal-Marts to try and find a few of the right items I needed! Oy, vey...
3:30PM: Back home! I was quite happy to be able to look through my purchases and do some YouTube hopping.
5PM: Started learning how to knit. Somewhere in between 11-2 I decided I wanted to learn how to knit, so I've been working on making a scarf for myself! It's actually quite fun, and it's not too bad to learn. Plus, for $2.50/skein and $2-3 for knitting needles, it's very inexpensive.
7:30PM: Mastered the first row of stitches. (Dinner + YouTube was in here too, it didn't take me 2.5hrs to learn the first row.)
9:30PM: FINALLY figured out how to do the basic continental knit stitch. (Ok, yes, this one actually took me at least an hour to get it right.) Sometimes it's just a matter of finding the right YouTube video to teach you!
11PM: Wait, I canz blogz on Saturday?? ;)
I like ABs idea of TBT! My problem is that I don't think I have old videos... just lots and lots of old photos. Maybe I can make photo collage videos instead? :)
The song of the week is one of the songs that my church choir is singing tomorrow. It's beautiful. Just beautiful. Man, I love singing the top soprano part on those first few bars, and the last 15-20 measures give me chills everytime.
