As for me, this is kind of a Long-Time-No-See blog, since I missed last week due to Holy Week craziness. I had a rehearsal and service Thur-Sun, with an extra 2 hr rehearsal on Saturday, and I went to my choirmaster’s house with some other people from our choir for Easter dinner. Needless to say, I was exhausted after that weekend, which was then followed by DUKE winning the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship!! I am such an excited and proud Duke fan! I wanted to drive the 3 hrs West to Indianapolis, but I just couldn’t afford the $150 ticket and the drive on a weeknight. They’ll just have to win again soon in a city I’m living in. My sister was at Cameron Indoor Stadium at Duke when they won, and that place went berserk. They burned benches afterwards, similar to what they did after beating their biggest rival North Carolina. My sister had a great time in it all (I’ve got a National Championship shirt coming, so I’m doing pretty well too…)
Otherwise, life has just been busy with work. I’ve been stressed with some projects, but the hard part is over now, so things should settle back to normal. I made today all about relaxing, so all I’ve done is read- A LOT-, watch Parks & Rec, spend some time outside enjoying the weather, and make strawberry vanilla chocolate chip pancakes. It’s been a great day. :D
Much love to you all! I hope you all are having a splendid weekend- and Anna Beth and Jill, I’ll be thinking of you both and praying for you! Have safe travels to Ireland- and remember, we’re all cheering for you! You can do it!!

PS- I don't have a "song" of the week this week. Sara and Jake's proposal video, while not a song, really sums up my happy mood right now, and I can't imagine anything better to listen to/watch. So, yeah. Enjoy the below video post :)
