Anyway, back to writing. I had training for my Fargo trip last Sunday, as well as a free meal. Gotta love Free College Lunch Sundays.
Amy and I, along with the rest of our Ecology class, drove up to the Bio-Preserve for our last practice-observation/logistics discussion before we start our actual data collection. Unfortunately it was incredibly windy and we didn’t see any chickadees, which is not something that makes us feel very good about our experiment. Hopefully that was just a fluke day and we’ll actually be able to observe the birds later on. Really the only animals we did see were four deer and SO MANY BABY COWS!!! I’m serious. The drive to and from the preserve is surrounded by cattle pastures in some parts, and apparently it’s calving season. One of them could not have been older than a day. It was also kinda weird how interested some of the older cows were with us. We stopped the van on the road to try a little practice bird watching, and all the cows just lined up by the fence:
Also, this is the last Friday I get sleep in. =[
The observation time slot I’ve been assigned has to start between 6-9 in the morning. And considering it takes an hour to get to the preserve…*sigh* I’ll miss waking up at 11 on Fridays…
FYI, Sara just came out of the closet. No, literally, she came out of the closet. She was changing into her pjs. Amy wanted me to include it in the blog. Now Amy's about to come out of the closet, well, she’s having a little trouble coming out of the closet. I think she’s stuck. =]
I guess I’ll end the blog around now so I can hang out with everyone. The Awesome this week, besides getting to see Shelby, is something that looks like an incredible amount of fun and comes from someone I just found (and started watching all the videos of) on YouTube. (If you guys get sick of how much I link to Youtube, just tell me)

P.S. Shelby's singing "Colossions 1: The Musical" to us. I think it's gonna be a hit =]
