QUESTION THURSDAY!!!

Are you excited that there's only a week and a half left of school?
Yes. I am this excited.
How's the end of your semester looking?
Actually, a lot of my classes are cancelled. Unfortunately, there’s still plenty of work to be done.
What do you think is going to be the coolest thing about the WKU film festival?
Well, we have a lot of cool screenings lined up, and special guests like Producer and Director Deb and Rob Spera, who have worked on shows like Criminal Minds and Army Wives. Plus, the winner of the screenplay contest gets to shoot their script with Rob Spera directing in less than 24 hours during the festival. I’m helping out on the crew of that. And, of course, I’m excited for the student film screenings and awards. Hint hint. You guys better come!
What companion do you think each of us is most like?
When you say ‘companion...’
Just kidding! I know what you mean. Hmm. Which of the Doctor’s companions are we all like?
Okay, well, I think I’d be Amy, because I don’t like commitment....But she chose Rory. Ehhh...
Rachael seems like a Martha, maybe.
I could also see Jill as Martha. She’s got the whole doctor thing going on. And she’s smart. But with her sarcasm, I could also see her as Donna. No, not loud enough. Donna’s pretty loud. Maybe Rory...
No, Amy’s Rory. Wow. That’s confusing. Amy Ni is Rory Pond. Err, Williams. The evidence? Rory has wanted kids since he was a kid. Sound like anyone else’s life goals?
Sara, you would be...Ummm....Uhhh...This is hard....You’re sarcastic like Donna. You like kids...You know, I could see you as Clara, actually. She’s always babysitting some kids. And she’s spunky but not overstatedly so. Yeah, I’m going to pick Clara for you.
Why are none of us Rose? There’s my question for whoever wins this week. Which of us do you think is the most like Rose? I almost want to say Sara. I don’t know why. And I’d like it to be me. Rose is the best. But I don’t know. Who do you think is the Rosiest?
Least favorite musical?
Least favorite??? That’s not cool. But...but...I have so many favorites I could tell you about. Okay, what musical do I not like? I mean, there’s not really one I can think of that I hate but I can think of some I’m kind of ‘meh’ about. I’m generally more of a fan of the historical, heavier musicals like Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, and The King and I. It’s the fluffy ones I’m not all that fond of, with certain exceptions, of course. But I like my musicals with substance, so the bubbly romcoms like The Pajama Game aren’t my favorite. OOH! No, I thought of one I legitimately dislike: RENT. I mean, even that, I like some of the songs, but most of it...ehhhh...
Favorite Asian country?
Well, Taiwan is like China, but with freedom. So that’s fun. But China gave us Amy, so that’s another good one. Also, Siam, which is now Thailand. Because of Siamese cats and The King and I. Also, is Russia in Asia or Europe? Like, what is it???
Favorite language?
I’m pretty partial to English, particularly when spoken in a British accent. I’ve always thought French sounds really pretty. And Irish Gaelic is magnificent. I really want to learn it!
Is Expect Squirrels ever going to be a thing?
Ha. Haha. Ha. Ha...
Favorite pizza topping?
For your average, every day pizza place: pepperoni
For Mellow Mushroom, where they get it 3000% right: ham and pineapple
Favorite Les Miserables song?
Um, no. I give up now. How could I ever chooooooose?!!??!
Okay, okay, but really. If I have to choose, it’s either One Day More or the Epilogue (especially the very end part). But noooo, Sara. You can’t make me choose!
Any theories on the new season of Sherlock?
Well, the three clues are “Rat. Wedding. Bow.” Now, rat, I’m not sure. But I know the first episode title is “The Empty Hearse,” an obvious nod to the short story “The Adventure of the Empty House,” in which Sherlock returns from the dead, so to speak. That’s going to be great. I can’t wait to see how the other characters react to his return. And how much time has passed between his supposed death and his return, because in the books it’s 3 years, and I just can’t even! How could he do that to John? Seriously?!
Anyway, I have no theories on how he faked his death. I gave up trying to figure it out a long time ago because I know whatever I come up with, Moffat will just turn inside out and make my brain explode anyway.
As for the “wedding” clue, I’m afraid it’s going to be John’s wedding. The second episode title is “The Sign of Three,” which is a nod to “The Sign of the Four,” in which John meets Mary Morstan, his soon-to-be wife. AND I just learned that Martin Freeman’s real life girlfriend, Amanda Abbington, has joined the cast. She’s totally playing Mary! It hasn’t been confirmed, but who else could she be? She HAS to be Mary!!! P.S. did you guys know that Martin and Amanda have kids? I never knew. They’re super cute, too!
Anyway, I did find some pictures on tumblr to contradict the assumption that it’s John’s wedding. See? John and Sherlock are dressed the same. The groom and the best man don’t dress the same, right? John should be fancier. They look like they’re both groomsmen. So who’s getting married?
Now “bow,” could be a reference to the book “His Last Bow” or the last short story in the book, bearing the same title. But no. Just nope. Nope. Too soon.
Anyway, long story short, I don’t have a clue how Sherlock did it. I know there’s supposedly a clue everyone missed in “The Reichenbach Fall,” but I also know that Moffat is a troll who loves torturing us with his brilliance. So yeah.
*shakes fist* Moffat!...........Aww, Moffat!

Do I annoy you when I talk about Supernatural?
No, I find it interesting. Just as long as you tolerate my extended ramblings about Les Mis, I think we’ve found a nice balance.
If you had to give a synopsis of Supernatural based on what I’ve told you, what would you say about it?
Supernatural in a nutshell: There are these two brothers, Sam and Dean. Dean is older, despite being shorter. Sam is a moose. Dean always protects Sam. He has since they were kids and their mom was killed by a demon...and she was on the ceiling...on fire? Yeah, something like that. They became hunters with their dad, and they track down scary creatures like ghosts, demons, and werewolves. There’s a guy named Bobby. He’s a hunter, too. Then in Season 4, Castiel comes along. He’s an angel. Sort of a fallen angel, but not exactly. He’s also a lion kitten. Not literally. He does some bad stuff, but he’s sorry later. He’s in a civil war in Heaven at some point and declares himself God. But then terrible things befall him, because you can’t just declare yourself God. Everyone ships Dean with Castiel. Wait, who do people ship Sam with? Satan, maybe? Then there are those who ship Sam and Dean...WINCEST! Oh, because their last name is Winchester. Forgot to mention that. And they all die a lot, but they always come back.

Invisibility, maybe.

I really like the Bad Wolfed Clara theory. Ooh, and I really liked the theory that Rory would somehow relate to the Master. But we all know how that turned out. Also, I’m not liking the theory that the Doctor only has 12 regenerations. Although that would be cool because of 12 and clocks and awesomeness, Doctor Who must never end!!!

Fluent in all human languages. As much as I’ve always wanted to be Eliza Thornberry, I’m still going to pick talking to humans over talking to animals.
