Hello from the Romans' house in Russellville, KY! Happy new year! I am so excited about our friendship adventure of 2012! Blogging is going to be a blast! Would you look at that? I've already overused the exclamation point... Well, you better get used to it!
I'm supposed to find out about my internship in exactly two weeks. I want to get it so badly!
Meanwhile, I'm technically a junior! Can you believe it? Some people asked me what year I am, and it took me a long time to answer... I am halfway done with college. But I love Asbury so much! It'd be fine with me to just stay forever! But God is calling me to other adventures, and I am on my way! I am so so so excited.
I'm going to go ahead and be cliche, so here are my new years resolutions:
Memorize scripture
Try one new food a week
Journal pretty much every day (in my new mickey mouse journal, yay!)
Work out and eat better (along with the other ninety percent of America... But someone will be successful in this resolution, and I hope it is me!)
Be awesome (this one shouldn't be too hard for me)
(and although I have no means or plans for this one) see my wku friends more often!
This year is going to bring many beautiful and wonderful adventures! So throw out your worries and embrace life! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? No one! So take this chance to to reflect on who you are, who you want to be, and what needs to change for them to be the same! A year is a long time to plan for, but you can ask yourself who you are going to be today.
