Well, scratch that. They turned the light off on the shuttle and I didn't want to be the annoying one.
Hello from looking at the new York skyline out the airport window. It's been wonderful so far. The KCU students that I'm travelling with are pretty cool! Two of them are missions majors. It was a little awkward at first but then I started being a little more outgoing. Everything that could go wrong yesterday did. The airline I thought I was going on doesn't exist anymore. Imagine my surprise when I got to the airport at Cincinnati and there was no airline to match my itinerary! I had to throw away my water bottle packed in my carryon, and it cost me ten bucks to get a snack and water at the airport. Our flight was delayed, and we had to wait an hour and a half in the Newark cold for our hotel shuttle. I wore flip flops. The cincinnati airport didn't have any food, so I didn't get to eat all day until 8 pm! Then we went to ruby tuesdays.
All that to say that I'm such a princess. I was really glad for every thing that didn't work out right because it reminded me how lucky I am. I am not afraid or worried about anything that might go wrong today. God will be with me no matter what happens, so who cares? I'm going to Haiti today! I just hope I remember to take my phenergan for the eight hour bumpy bus ride. There are no traffic laws in Haiti. Adventure! I might be going to tortuga this week! We will see what all happens, and I will give you the highlights next week! All my dreams are on the verge of coming true. Although I anticipate God's protection. I don't know what His plan is! So on the off chance that anything happens to me, I want you guys to know that I love God so much and God loves you and I love you! Love costs everything!
God bless!
Be a missionary wherever you are this week!
Love love love love love!
Also, you have until 9:25 to text me
