In other news, Jill, Rachael, and I were revisiting the story we started writing last November and it has gotten me in the mood for writing. I mean, I'm often in the writing sort of mood, but it usually ends up all in my head, rather than on paper. While I'm really looking forward to school starting and all my new classes, it just dawned on me that a lot of writing is in my future...and not the fun kind. The for-class kind, the kind that's not really the writing I want to write, even if it's a creative writing class. So I'd better get to writing things I want to write now, while I have the time. I have three different story ideas rolling around in my head, but I don't have very well defined plots for any of them. Grrr. I hate when that happens: I have just a vague idea, but I really like it and want to write it, but then I'm like, "RAWR but what HAPPENS???"
Anyway, enough about my writing dilemmas. Just know that, come November, I hope we can all have writing dilemmas, as I WILL challenge you all to participate in NaNoWriMo. :)
Otherwise...THE OLYMPICS START TOMORROW! TOGA! TOGA! TOGA! I can't wait to see the Opening Ceremony (sigh...London...I have a crush on a city.) and eat lots of yummy food at our Olympics Party tomorrow night! Go Team USA and go Team GB!
Here's to hoping the Doctor shows up carrying the torch!
Love,
Anna Beth
