Hello from my couch, where I’m currently curled up underneath a really comfy blanket and getting sleepier by the second. It’s only 6:48pm.
I love summer.
Yet, so quickly it’s gone. :( I know, I know: it’s only May 12th. But this represents my last free weekend before beginning… “summer school.” (insert cries of horror here). Well, I guess it’s only technically “summer school.” It’s really just an online class. Still. It’s school. In the summer. So it’s summer school. Ugh. Why did I think this was a good idea again? Oh yeah. The whole “graduation” thing. That’s a good reason.
Random thought: I’ve kind of noticed that, depending on my mood/depth of the topic, my writing style changes. As in, my sentences become much more fluid when I’m trying to communicate a point that I care deeply about and when I’m just kind of “mrah write about the random things in my life,” my sentences are choppier. You can kind of tell just by looking at the last two paragraphs. Also, I’ve noticed where my writing style communicates the point I’m trying to get across or just my general thought expression simply by the format of my sentences… I’m trying to think of a logical explanation for this, but I don’t have one yet. Except that I really do love writing. Too bad I’m in Enginnering. XD
HA! I just realized I misspelled Engineering. Although it’s kind of ironic I misspelled it while I was explaining part of the reason I love to write/”regretting” Engineering (which I don’t at all). I think I’ll keep it. :)
Anyway, unfortunately because I’m being incredibly lazy (BUT at least I remembered to post this!), I’m keeping this blog short. However, I wanted to make sure that I mentioned that I loved seeing so many of you this week!!! =D It ‘twas wonderful to hang out with my wonderful friends and have lovely friendship bonding experiences! To Shelby and Rachael: <3’s. So many <3’s. And Shelby, I hope you have a wonderful time in Haiti, since I couldn’t come down to see you and give you a hug. So here’s your HUG!!!!!!!!! <3
Also, one last thing to which you MUST RESPOND (honestly): Would you like to attend Summer ROMP this summer?
And with that vital question out of the way, here’s my song of the week! I just kind of stumbled upon this song, and it caught my attention. :) So I hope it pleases your ears a little too- note: This is a live version, so the quality is as good as it gets, unfortunately. Still- Enjoy!
