Hello from the start of fall break! All two and a half days of it!
I finally thought of an idea that I can do for my blog! Better late than never, eh? Well, I'm a design major now, so why not do a fashion-ish blog? I recently did a small homework assignment where we were told to find 3 fashion blogs and write how they can help us in our career. The blogs I found were a mix of personal blogs and blogs that big names put up as part of their website-- I personally liked the personal blogs more because they felt more personal (obliviously), easier to navigate, and they weren't trying to sell me something.
So with all the rain that we had here a couple of days ago, I found myself wanting a pair of rain boots. Not to hurt anyone's feelings, but I really don't like them. They look like stiff rubber things that try to be cute with the different patterns, but it doesn't work out for me. I think it only work out if you're a kid...

But I love boots...even if I am VERY particular in which boots I like. I stumbled across these the other day called Johnny Tall Boots and I really wanted them--I like the heel height and the toe of the shoe is exactly right (not too pointy, but not rounded either)...but ALAS! They are $348.00! Ouch! So I googled Zappos and looked at boots under $150 and here are a few that I would love to have...
