Band camp started last Saturday and because of that, I got move in early! Unfortunately, this also means that I have to deal with all the freshmen doing Master Plan. They crowd the only food places that are open and make a lot of noise when you're trying to nap during your lunch break. Right now, there's something going on I the stadium that's really noisy. It's going to become quite annoying if it doesn't end soon because I'll be wanting to get some sleep...
Anyway, it's not that bad. More food places will be open once school starts and there will still be some sort of line because of all the returning students.
Band camp is...well, it's band camp. We practice in the hot and get all sweaty. Some of us get sunburns and others just get really bad tan lines (cough cough). I've tried to even out my tan, but I'm about to give up. Let's just say that people would stare if I wear a bathing suit any time soon.
Yes, band is very repetitive and my muscles are sore, but at least I'm getting my muscle back and my fellow band members are pretty awesome people to hang out with. Like today, I borrowed a baritone's hat that looked like Ash's (from pokemon) and wore it part of practice. And yesterday we randomly went to Taco Bell way night and sat in the parking lot because the lobby was closed. Have I mentioned that the "Copy Paste" game has started going around the band? There have been some.....interesting ones.
I'll be getting my fridge here on Friday, Bates Runner doesn't have an elevator, and I've temporarily replaced Amy with a dragon for a roommate because I was feeling lonely. I'm thinking of naming him either Gerald or Jarvis. He uses his magical powers to guard aganist evil.
Good night guys!
